Bass-player/Arranger/Song-writer Mikael Petersson hails from Stockholm Sweden. Born july 1979, he started to play guitar at the age of 12 and switched to the bass-guitar while studying at music high school outside of Stockholm. The last couple of years, Mikael has been working frequently as a bassplayer/musical director and session-musician on several tours around Europe and on different recording projects with styles ranging from Pop/Rock and Soul/R&B to jazz and flamenco. Mikael has experience from recording in studios, as well as live for television. Working as an Musical director and arranger for the SoundPlanet Orchestra with a toursheet with over 300 shows the last two years with the Levade Noble Horse Gala. Playing in front of a total of more than 100.000 people around Europe. Session work in studios such as Hilson Studios and Seafood studios in stockholm with artists such as Shebang, Sofia, Oneway Street among others. He has worked with producers such as Tobias Jonnarth(Mikael Rickfors, Shebang, Sofia) and Charlie Hilson(Joakim Hilson). Mikael has up to date had the privelege of playing and appearing on recordings with great musicians such as Per Lindwall, Per-Erik Hallin, Pelle Claesson and Robert Ikkis. Mikael has also collaborated with international Flamenco artists, among them Zamna Urista Rojaz(Flamenco-guitar), José Ramirez(Vocals) and acclaimed flamenco-dancers Bernarda Diaz and Magali Fuentes. | ||||||||
