Hello Everyone! Here it is! The page about me and my bass guitar!(sorry Vic!) Here you will find all "important" info about me, what I've done and what I'm doing, music-wise that is! About me: Bass-player/Arranger/Song-writer Mikael Petersson hails from Stockholm Sweden. Born july 1979, he started to play guitar at the age of 12 and switched to the bass-guitar while studying at music high school outside of Stockholm. The last couple of years, Mikael has been working frequently as a bassplayer/musical director and Session-musician on several tours around Europe and on different recording projects. About my Style: I listen to so much different music, it would take all page to list up everything I like, but my bassplaying has perticularly been influenced by old and new soul-music with a long line of great musicians. Wether I'm playing Rock, Jazz or just plain Pop, I'm always trying to make the bass interresting without sounding too "busy". Im always getting influences from whatever I do, where-ever I do it and who-ever I meet there.
